My Services
Your First Appointment
We will begin our work together with a 90-minute Initial Consultation. The time is for me to listen to your story and current struggles. I look at your family and social history, medical conditions and medications, as well as significant supports such as family, friends, or a faith-based community if applicable. We work collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan to meet your needs and goals.
Counseling Sessions
When you face overwhelming or difficult struggles, it is important to provide a safe place where you can tell your story. I strive to provide this through establishing trust, being open and authentic, actively listening, and providing unconditional regard and acceptance. It is in you telling your story that hope is restored and healing and wholeness begin.
I support you in your journey from a person-centered, strengths-based position. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic approaches as well as other methods to fit your needs. Together we develop a plan and the coping skills and self-awareness you need to identify and establish goals. I employ an overall wholistic approach in your recovery process to support you physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
For those who desire it, I offer faith-based counseling services; however, this is your choice, and I will honor and respect your requests.
Regular counseling sessions are 45-50 minutes in length.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
